This dashboard uses data from emergency department at Riverton General Hospital and compiled by Sibbald et al

A case ascertainment algorithm has been used to identify persons experiencing homelessness.

Caution should be exercised when interpreting this field as the case ascertainment algorithm has been shown to have high specificity but low sensitivity.

In other words, the algorithm has a high true negative rate (99.6%) but relatively low true positive rate (31.4%)
